Board of Directors

Designs and plans the large-scale concert that will fund the construction of a cultural village in Haiti.

The Board of Directors is charged with conceiving and planning a large-scale concert aimed at financing and realizing the construction of a cultural village in Haiti.

Under the Board's leadership are the following committees:

Public Relations & Communications

Recruits engaged artists, partners with embassies, and links every committee to the wider world.

Public Relations Committee

The mission of the Public Relations Committee is to:

  • Recruit other engaged artists, both Haitian and international.
  • Contact embassies invested in Haiti's progress and invite them to participate in or contribute to this project.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee acts as the bridge between the Public Relations Committee and the Board of Directors, and between the Board and the project's various stakeholders.

Economy, Finance & Accounting

Stewards the project's financial resources and ensures disciplined budget planning.

21 Nanchon Action Committee

Partners with ISPAN, the Bureau of Ethnology, and Haitian experts to build the cultural village.

The "21 Nanchon" Action Committee, in concert with the Institut de Sauvegarde du Patrimoine National (ISPAN), the Bureau National d'Ethnologie (BNE), and eminent Haitian professionals, oversees the implementation of the cultural village construction project.

Cultural Committee

Brings together the artists and key resources that bring every PBA project to life.

The Cultural Committee's mission is to:

  • Collaborate with the artists involved to ensure the realization of the cultural activities envisioned by PBA.
  • Undertake the steps needed to gather the key people capable of planning, managing, and carrying cultural projects to completion.

Spiritual Committee

Unites the Lakou across Haiti's ten geographic departments in support of the 21 Nanchon work.

The Spiritual Committee is charged with gathering the Lakou spread across the ten geographic departments of Haiti so that they may support the "21 Nanchon" Action Committee.

Technical Committee

Builds and maintains the project's website, working closely with PR and Communications.

The Technical Committee oversees the creation and maintenance of a website for the project. It works jointly with the Public Relations and Communications committees on official publications for the website and social media.

Creates literacy and learning programs better adapted to Haitian culture.
